The Aldo Morelato Foundation has decided to dedicate each Friday to students offering them a free visit to the MAAM:
the only Museum in Italy dedicated to Applied Arts in the Furniture Field.
Every Friday from 9 to 12 a.m.
The great interest and numerous requests, especially from universities and schools, has led the company to the initiative that aligns perfectly with the philosophy of the Foundation. For years, in fact, through the Significant Furniture Competition the Foundation has been stimulating the creativity of young people, giving space to their projects.
The MAAM is located at the beautiful Villa Dionisi at Cà del Lago, Cerea (VR) and preserves the exhibited pieces as a “museum in a museum”. Precious design projects which in the halls of this villa of the 18th century are transformed into pieces of art. A perfectly successful encounter between tradition and style research.
Architects and designers on the international scene, in relation to the evolution of modern living, including Michele De Lucchi, Piero Lissoni, Fabio Novembre, Paola Navone and many others, infact have produced the exhibited projects over the last thirty years.
Since 2009 the MAAM of the Aldo Morelato Foundation is part of a museum network guided by the Design Museum of the Triennale Foundation in Milan.
